Important information

It is your responsibility under the terms of the Loan Car agreement to insure your loan vehicle on the correct basis.

You should ensure the cover you take out and the policy documents issued by your insurance company are correct.

In particular you should check that:

  • The registered keeper is shown as Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited
  • The owner is shown as the employee in whose name the Loan Car agreement is in
  • The vehicle specification details are correct
  • The cover is comprehensive
  • Any named drivers shown are approved by the company as per the Loan Car scheme rules and signed loan agreement
  • The value of the vehicle is in line with the recommended retail price (or shown as market value where this is not specified)

You should check the detail of cover provided by each insurer to make sure it meets your requirements.
